About Jenny

Hello, I’m Jenny, founder of Ikebana Floral Therapy.

I am a contemporary Ikebana artist, registered psychotherapist and counsellor, passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and discover greater simplicity, contentment and peace.

With more than 30 years of experience in leadership, organisational development and change management across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region, I was drawn towards supporting people in a more personal and human-centred way. This led me to further studies in counselling and psychotherapy, community wellbeing work, and the creation of Ikebana Floral Therapy.

Ikebana Floral Therapy combines my love of nature, Japanese Ikebana, mindfulness, Eastern philosophy and emotional wellbeing into a unique practice that supports both personal growth and healing.

I believe that flowers and nature have the power to slow us down, encourage reflection, and help us appreciate the beauty within ourselves and the ever-changing nature of life.

Through workshops, wellbeing programs and individual support, I provide a calm, welcoming space where people can learn the art of Ikebana, build emotional resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Based on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, I facilitate workshops and wellbeing experiences across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Why I Created Ikebana Floral Therapy

Throughout my professional career, counselling work and personal life experiences, I have witnessed how many people struggle with stress, anxiety, loss, uncertainty and the pressures of modern living.

I created Ikebana Floral Therapy to offer a different pathway—one that combines the beauty of nature, the wisdom of Eastern philosophy, mindful creativity and emotional wellbeing practices to help people reconnect with themselves and discover greater simplicity, contentment and peace.

My hope is that every person who attends a workshop leaves not only with a beautiful Ikebana arrangement, but also with greater self-awareness, calmness and appreciation for what truly matters in their life.

“I participated in an Ikebana Workshop with Jenny Rundle. Her knowledge of Ikebana was very informative with a focus on wellbeing, health and happiness. I found the class to be enlightening and fun. I could highly recommend it to anyone. Thankyou Jenny for involving me, I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
